About Us:

Our Bigger and Better Business Initiative became the first National Program of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. It was first introduced at our Tenth Anniversary Conclave held in Philadelphia in December 1924. The emphasis of the program is to encourage Black Owned Businesses to improve their quality and service to the public, in order to be more competitive with other businesses.

We are excited to be hosting our Annual Bigger and Better Business Awards Brunch.   This year's event will be held at the Flourtown Country Club on Saturday November 18th.  with our theme centered around  "Celebrating Small Business Heroes"

We are currently seeking nominations for businesses to be recognized for an award. The deadline for nominations is September 30th. Please identify Black Owned Businesses you believe deliver high quality products and services to the community they serve.

This year our Awards Brunch is being co-sponsored by PBS Community Foundation which is our non- profit arm. Its focus is to support our local communities through Service, Leadership, and Community Development.

We thank you for your support of our 2023 Bigger and Better Business Awards Brunch. We look forward to an outstanding event. Check our ticket website for tickets, sponsorships and vendor information at https://biggerandbetterbusiness.eventbrite.com

Non-Profit Business of the year:

Black Men Heal is a 501c3 grassroots nonprofit organization, that was established in 2018. It was created as a solution to a broken inequitable mental health care system that does not center the needs of marginalized black and brown communities.
Our focus centers on the mental health needs of Black Men because of the lack of resources attending solely to this population. Our mission is to provide mental health treatment, education, and resources to Men of color.
